Our History
Labor Network began over 30 years ago with a simple but powerful idea: connect good people with good work, and treat both sides of the equation with respect. From our earliest days, we’ve been rooted in the neighborhoods we serve, building personal relationships with employers, knowing our workers by name, and showing up when it matters most.
Over the years, our reach has grown to serve companies across the Chicago metro and northern Illinois suburbs. Our industries have expanded to include light industrial, skilled trades, food prep, manufacturing, machine operations, and packaging & fulfillment. But our approach hasn’t changed: move quickly, understand the work inside and out, and never lose sight of the people behind it.
We’re proud to be a legacy staffing company that has adapted with the times while staying true to the old-school Chicago values we were built on: honesty, hard work, and a handshake you can trust.
Labor Network was founded by Bill Sr. and is now run alongside his son, Bill Jr. One day, the business will be fully in his hands. It has always been a family operation built on trust, hard work, and long-standing relationships. That legacy continues to guide everything they do.
Many of the people who came on board in the early years are still with the company today. They helped shape its identity and its reputation. Their dedication is a big part of why Labor Network has stood the test of time. Everyone grew together, and that foundation remains strong.
